Love is the profound force that binds and unifies all living beings, extending beyond the confines of hatred to foster healing and connection. It emerges from the heart, serving as a vital organ of perception and intuition, guiding us toward a greater understanding of ourselves and the world around us. This heart-centered connection encourages compassion and self-love, inspiring us to take action in service to life and protect the Earth. At Dreamland Sanctuary, we support individuals in discovering their path with heart, emphasizing the importance of reverence and care for all existence. By giving more than we take, we create a nurturing cycle of love that illuminates the interconnectedness of life, allowing healing to flourish in communities and within ourselves.
Wisdom is woven into the fabric of existence, drawn from ancestral traditions that resonate through time, embodying the voices of the more-than-human world. It emerges from the teachings of elders who have traversed the landscape of life, their experiences rich with lessons learned through adversity and loss. Magick is the profound art of conscious co-creation, where we align ourselves with the cycles and spirits of Nature, tapping into the energy that flows through all living things. It invites us to experience spontaneous glimpses of the unexplainable, revealing the interconnectedness of existence and the potential within our intentions. Through focused will, we participate in the unfolding of our dreams, shaping the reality around us in harmony with the natural world. When we genuinely connect with intent, we become active participants in the co-creative process, transforming our visions into tangible experiences and nurturing a more vibrant, meaningful existence.
Remembering is the sacred act of weaving ourselves back into the tapestry of life, where we embrace our belonging and acknowledge the deep interbeingness and interconnectedness that binds us all. In this journey, we mend the tears of our past, healing the traumas that have fractured our spirits. As we reconnect with our original instructions, we gather the scattered fragments of our being, returning reverence to the world and the myriad species that inhabit it. Through this restoration, we can reclaim our balance, fostering harmony within ourselves and our environment, ultimately paving the way for a collective resurgence into unity and peace.
Dreamland pulled me to her gateway within days of my move to Vermont.
It was love at first site and an inexplicable knowing that somehow, we were meant to be together. For 7 years I followed the pull of my heart and courted this land with offerings, prayer, and ceremony. I lived for years within walking distance and when i found Ivan and brought him here, he felt the same deep knowing and kinship. Ivan joined the courtship and the magic grew... We were given regular auspicious omens and gifts which kept our hopes up, until finally in 2006 we became the lucky stewards of this incredibly beautiful, potent and generous piece of earth. It was a dream come true. Our Dreamland.
We knew from the start that this was so much more than a home for us. The fates brought us together to co-create a Sanctuary and a Druid Order here. That same year The Green Mountain Druid Order was founded by Ivan McBeth with my support.
In 2009 Ivan, Dreamland and I were handfasted (married) in a three way sacred union. Ivan left his ailing body in 2016 after many years of health issues, but our bond goes beyond form. Our love is eternal. He is still very alive in spirit and shows up often in the groves, dreams and ceremonies of this land and those he loves.
With Ivan no longer in form, I stepped into the roles of Chief, director, manager, executive director, head teacher, and steward of the Green Mountain Druid Order, Green Mountain Druid School and Dreamland Sanctuary, Inc.. It was wonderful, creative time, full of growth, connection and inspiration, and it was ALOT. Menopause arrived and i hit a wall. I burned out hard. It wasn’t pretty or comfortable. It was confusing and quite vulnerable! I was no longer able or willing to be everything to everyone. I literally couldnt do it anymore. I had to find my NO and to learn to stand in my truth even if it disappointed others. I had to let it all go.
Ivan McBeth is a Druid in the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids, and is the founder of the Green Mountain Druid Order, a modern mystery school and spiritual community based in Worcester, Vermont. He is a founding member of the Oak Dragon Project in Britain, and taught regularly in various schools of healing and geomancy.
His passion is the creation of sacred space, and stone circles in particular. He is a founding member of the Circles for Peace project in the USA, and is co-responsible for the “Burlington Earth Clock’ stone circle in Oakledge Park, Burlington, Vermont, and another 20 full-sized stone circles around the world. He is a Reiki Master, and author of two books; ‘Crystal Journey.’ and the Bardic Book of Becoming. He is co founder and DJ of Ecstatic Dance VT with Fearn,
In 2011 he was founding member of ‘The Council of All Beings’ who facilitated and welcomed the 13 Indigenous Grandmothers to Montpelier to spin their unique and awesome magic.
Ivan loves magic and loves life, and is committed to promote peace and the creation of sacred space in the world. To quote him on one of his good days: “Heaven is where you open your eyes in the morning!”
Ivan passed gracefully into the Otherworld on September 23, 2016. He is still very much engaged and involved with Dreamland, the GMDO and any who seek his wise and joyful guidance!
