I offer myself as guide, guardian and priestess in service to the Earth

Fern Lickfield brings 30 years combined experience as a Druid priestess, Faery Seer, Geomancer, ceremonialist, ecstatic dancer, empowerment facilitator, and certified flower essence practitioner.
She serves life as a spiritual guide, community organizer, earth healer, gardener, tree speaker, web weaver, and remembrance facilitator. Fearn has a passion for co-creating vibrant community celebrations that honor the earth and waters, embrace the changing seasons, and commemorate rites of passage. As the steward and temple tender of Dreamland, an eco-spiritual retreat center and sanctuary Worcester, VT, she fosters a nurturing environment for growth and healing.
Over the last 19 years, she has held the mantle of teacher, administrator, director, and Chief of the Green Mountain Druid School and Order which she co-founded with her late great husband Ivan McBeth in 2006.
In this next chapter, she is excited to offer her unique blend of skill, heartful presence and wisdom to support people who long to belong and connect deeply to LIFE.
Ivan McBeth is our beloved ancestor. He passed gracefully into the Otherworld on September 23, 2016.
He is a Druid in the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids, and is the founder of the Green Mountain Druid Order, a modern mystery school and spiritual community based in Worcester, Vermont. He is a founding member of the Oak Dragon Project in Britain, and taught regularly in various schools of healing and geomancy.
His passion is the creation of sacred space, and stone circles in particular. He is a founding member of the Circles for Peace project in the USA, and is co-responsible for the “Burlington Earth Clock’ stone circle in Oakledge Park, Burlington, Vermont, and another 20 full-sized stone circles around the world. He is a Reiki Master, and author of two books; ‘Crystal Journey.’ and the Bardic Book of Becoming. He is co founder and DJ of Ecstatic Dance VT with Fearn,
In 2011 he was founding member of ‘The Council of All Beings’ who facilitated and welcomed the 13 Indigenous Grandmothers to Montpelier to spin their unique and awesome magic.
Ivan loves magic and loves life, and is committed to promote peace and the creation of sacred space in the world. To quote him on one of his good days: “Heaven is where you open your eyes in the morning!”
He is still very much engaged and involved with Dreamland, the GMDO and any who seek his wise and joyful guidance!
My commitment to the land of Dreamland Sanctuary
As the current steward of this Sanctuary called Dreamland, I honor the sovereignty of this land, which means i acknowledge the right that the land has to exist free from molestation and the expectation of human productivity. This land is tended with respect for its rightful status as a coequal being, possessing the same rights that we expect for ourselves. It is my intent that the land finds sanctuary under my care. I view the land as a living relative, honoring the rights that the land holds when making alterations on the land. I further commit to choosing minimally invasive and sustainable practices when working with the land. I also honor the right of the land to remain intact. Parcels may be added to our holding, but no lands shall be marketed or sold unless they are being transferred into the care of an organization with aligned values and commitments toward honoring, conserving, and protecting the land.
Dreamland pulled me to her gateway within days of my move to Vermont.
It was love at first site and an inexplicable knowing that somehow, we were meant to be together. For 7 years I followed the pull of my heart and courted this land with offerings, prayer, and ceremony. I lived for years within walking distance and when i found Ivan and brought him here, he felt the same deep knowing and kinship. Ivan joined the courtship and the magic grew... We were given regular auspicious omens and gifts which kept our hopes up, until finally in 2006, thanks to some inheritance from the passing of Ivan’s mother, we became the lucky stewards of this incredibly beautiful, potent and generous piece of earth. It was a dream come true. Our Dreamland.
We knew from the start that this was so much more than a home for us. The fates brought us together to co-create a Sanctuary and a Druid Order here. That same year The Green Mountain Druid Order was founded by Ivan McBeth with my support.
In 2009 Ivan, Dreamland and I were handfasted (married) in a three way sacred union. Ivan left his ailing body in 2016 after many years of health issues, but our bond goes beyond form. Our love is eternal.
