Foundations for Flight, our spring immersion opens the gateway of understanding to embodied trance practice, talismanic magic, and ancestral traditions. We will guide experiential learning with movement, breath, gaze, and ritual, and explore the history and forms of trance, establishing respectful relationships with allies and Gaia, and building our container for safe and transformative ecstasy. You will be invited into an expanded community of spirit dancers and allies, anchored in your body, clear about the journey, and supported in integrating centering practices into daily life for deeper communion and growth.
What you will experience:
Core practices for Psychic Hygiene to protect, clear, and sustain your energetic field
History of trance dance and invitation to research your ancestral or cultural lineage of trance practice
Exploration of different types and levels of trance, and how to work with each safely
Practical instruction in using movement, breath, rhythm, and gaze to enter trance
Techniques to anchor and ground your body to the earth
Recieve your sacred bundle and first talisman.
An introduction to your Guardian Gatekeeper, a protective ally.
Methods for relating to contacts and their magic/medicine; how to build a reciprocal relationship of reverence and service
Tools for discernment: how to know who has come, what to do when it is not who you called
Practices for re-membering: cultivating expanded belonging and understanding all beings as emanations of the Divine
Pathways for applying trance contact to healing, divination, spiritual gift activation, and community service; why your work matters and how to share it responsibly
Guidance on integration: what to expect as activations unfold, how to care for yourself, and options for follow-up support including integration circles and private sessions
Encouragement to build daily spiritual practices to center, align, and maintain connection

Fern Lickfield
Fern Lickfield brings 30 years combined experience as a Druid priestess, Faery Seer, Geomancer, ceremonialist, ecstatic dancer, empowerment facilitator, and certified flower essence practitioner.
She serves life as a spiritual guide, community organizer, earth healer, gardener, tree speaker, web weaver, and remembrance facilitator. Fearn has a passion for co-creating vibrant community celebrations that honor the earth and waters, embrace the changing seasons, and commemorate rites of passage. As the steward and temple tender of Dreamland, an eco-spiritual retreat center and sanctuary Worcester, VT, she fosters a nurturing environment for growth and healing.
Over the last 19 years, she has held the mantle of teacher, administrator, director, and Chief of the Green Mountain Druid School and Order which she co-founded with her late great husband Ivan McBeth in 2006.
In this next chapter, she is excited to offer her unique blend of skill, heartful presence and wisdom to support people who long to belong and connect deeply to LIFE.

Annette Gringas
Annette Gingras is a Usui Reiki Master/Teacher, Biofield Energy Practitioner, Therapeutic Crystal Healer, Seer, Weaver, and Sacred Space Holder with a background in Lakota Ceremony and Ritual. Based in Burlington, Vermont, Annette shares their services with the local community and surrounding areas.
Their passion for Reiki and other complementary Healthcare modalities shines through in every aspect of their work. With two decades of experience, Annette has honed their craft and expertise in guiding individuals on their professional and spiritual journeys. Their commitment to helping others is evident in the wide range of advanced trainings, workshops, and courses they offer, each designed to empower and uplift those who seek their guidance.
Through workshops like Sacred Crystal Healing, Shakti Chakra Activation, 5D Light Body Activation, Reiki refresher courses, and Advance Reiki Trainings, including Advanced Reiki Level One, Advanced Practitioner, Advanced Reiki Master, and Reiki Master/Teacher Trainings all VSAC grant approved Annette imparts not just knowledge, but a deep sense of connection to the healing powers of Quantum Healing Techniques, Biofield/Subtle Energy, and Crystal Therapies. Their teachings extend beyond the classroom, as they teach at transformative retreats such as "Medicine Womyn" and "Earth's Rising Sons," creating sacred spaces for growth and self-discovery.
