Magi stems back to the stars, magic and power. This is a gathering to consciously create energy, magic and envision our individual and collective souls path.

In this workshop we will get a clearer image of the world we wish for and how we are showing up in this world as individuals. We will be iMAGIning and exploring these together in Conscious Visioning Practices as well as using the senses and remembering our truest nature through our own creative callings. (poetry/art/dance/music/visioning...).

The ancestors are part of us. We are product of all who have come before us. Our ancestors are tied to us through our energy fields, our biology, and our heritage. We can inherit their good traits, their not-so-good traits, beliefs, ideologies, religion, way of life, limitations, and traumas.

In this workshop we will discuss how trauma is passed down through generations, and learn ways to connect to our ancestors for healing. We will explore plants, flower essences, and energetic boundaries to assist us on this journey. Participants will learn that although someone’s spirit guide might be an ancestor, not all ancestors can be guides. Learn to effectively communicate with your ancestors for healing with healthy boundaries, through meditation and ceremony.

Together, in partnership with gentle plant remedies, we create a healing space for each other and gently explore our relationships to giving, receiving, and defending care and nourishment for others. As we move through embodying these roles, we collectively create a human mandala celebrating interconnection and communal support. Where settler colonialism seeks to separate and isolate, we resist and heal through the creation of a new narrative of community, healing, and interconnectedness. We are stronger together than alone!

Participants should bring a yoga mat/blanket and a towel.

What is spiritual evolution? Good question. For me it is about coming home to spirit. Remembering who we came here to be. Remembering our connection to all beings. Remembering our part in the vast universe and more. Connecting to what is really important, letting go of expectations, out dated beliefs, and Karma. Spiritual evolution is why we are here. As we let go, our spiritual being becomes lighter allowing a clearer vision of who we are becoming. We all grow in our own unique way. The question is, do we want to continue living a recycled life, reliving the same lesson over and over again? Or are we ready to live a new life. A new adventure. In this workshop we will openly discuss what is consciousness, what is sacred, and gain a new perspective of who we are in the web of life.

Smoke medicine, known as “smudging” by Native Americans or “saining” by indigenous folks from the Celtic Isles, is an ancient and modern practice for tending the spiritual well-being of people and spaces as well as clearing the air of pathogens and stagnant energy. Join Community Herbalists Katherine Elmer (Celtic/Nordic descent) and Carl Brokenhorse Koehler (Haudenosaunee/Germanic descent) for an introduction to medicinal plants and folklore from two indigenous lineages. Activities include an introduction to common medicinal plants used for smoke medicine, ancestral story-telling, and making your own smoke medicine bundles using abundant local plants such as cedar and mugwort.

Let us gather in sacred space to attend the accumulation of all that we have lost, are losing, is crumbling, at risk and getting torn away, personally and collectively in these times of great change and intensity. Be held in a grounded and compassionately held circle where you get to shed some layers of heaviness with honor for what has been. Grief is lightened when we bring it into community. We realize we are not alone. Leave with deeper breath and capacity to live and love fully.
